Sales terms and right of withdrawal
Licences are intended primarily for business users; the personal licence is intended for individuals for private use. A licence is sold for a period of one year, as a subscription that renews automatically every year. You can cancel the subscription at any time; the licence then remains valid until the end of the paid period, and the next period is not charged. Prices are net; Paddle charges VAT according to the buyer’s country. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it handles payment, issues the invoice with VAT according to the rules of the buyer’s country and handles order-related enquiries and returns. All customers, in Croatia and abroad, pay the same way, and the automatic yearly renewal is also charged through Paddle. The licence to use the application itself is granted by KADODiS under the licence agreement (EULA) you accept when you start the application.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
Consumers (natural persons buying outside their trade or profession) have the right under Croatian consumer protection law to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. We give this option to all customers, consumers and businesses alike: within 14 days of the first purchase or of each yearly renewal you can request a refund of the full amount paid, without giving a reason and even though the licence has already been delivered and activated, as described in the refund policy. After a refund the licence is revoked. The free 30-day trial allows evaluation before purchase.
Complaints, governing law and disputes
Written complaints can be sent to our registered address or to info@kadodis.hr; we reply in writing within 15 days. Croatian law applies. Disputes fall under the competent court in Zagreb, without prejudice to consumers’ right to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence and to the protection given to them by the mandatory rules of the country where they have their habitual residence.
Alternative dispute resolution: a consumer may submit a proposal to an alternative consumer dispute resolution body under the Croatian Act on Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution; the list of these bodies is published by the ministry responsible for consumer protection. KADODiS is not obliged and does not agree to take part in proceedings before an alternative consumer dispute resolution body, unless the law requires it.
